Abstract: This presentations was made was at the 2008 Federal Privacy Summit by Linda Sanches, Senior Advisor, HIPAA Privacy Outreach & Training, Department of Health and Human Services. She co-presented Mike Pagels, Technical Advisor, Office of E-Health Standards and Services, CMSS, Department of Health and Human Services and with Andrea Wilson, Implementation Coordinator, Veterans Health Administration Privacy Office, VA. The slides were presented on October 23, 2008 at the Department of Commerce at a breakout session to more than 100 federal IT workers. The event was co-sponsored by the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of E-Government and the Privacy Committee of the Federal CIO Council.
